Items that are enchanted can be disenchanted by using them on either of the two input slots a grindstone.
When used on the grindstone the enchanted item will be consumed & an item with the same type & durability will appear in the output window.
You will also lose some experience when you remove the now unenchanted item from the output slot in the grindstone.
Note: The grindstone is not able to remove items with curses on them such as the curse of binding which is a rare enchantment that prevents the effected piece of armor from being removed.
How to Craft a Grindstone

As mentioned above the grindstone is a piece of equipment which allows you to remove enchantments.
Crafting a grindstone is simple, only takes only a few materials & is easy to craft. You will need:
- 2 wooden sticks made from any type of wood
- 2 wooden planks made from any type of wood
- 1 stone slab
Once you have your ingredients follow the simple crafting recipe shown below to complete your grindstone.
You can also find grindstones in villages generated naturally. Visit the village weaponsmith & destroy the block to pick it up & use it for yourself in your own location.
