In a significant announcement for gaming enthusiasts, Xbox has revealed that Diablo 4, the latest installment in the legendary Diablo series, will be the first game from Activision Blizzard’s portfolio to be included in the Game Pass subscription.

This eagerly awaited title is set to make its debut on both PC and consoles as part of the Game Pass on March 28.

The inclusion of Diablo 4 in the Game Pass lineup might not come as a surprise to many, as hints of such a move were previously shared by Phil Spencer, the head of Microsoft’s gaming division, back in September 2022, following the acquisition plans of Activision. Although the transaction experienced some delays, it appears the initial plans are now coming to fruition.

Sarah Bond, the head of Xbox, expressed her excitement about the collaboration with Activision Blizzard King, stating that starting with Diablo 4 on March 28, games from Activision and Blizzard will be added to the Game Pass.

This announcement was made during an official podcast where executives discussed changes in their business strategy.

Currently, Diablo 4 is in its third season, and fans are not only looking forward to future seasons but also the upcoming expansion, Vessel of Hatred, announced at BlizzCon. The expansion is expected to launch towards the end of this year, although a specific release date has not been confirmed.
