As you know the month of October comes with weekly Wacky Wizards updates, the newest being the ghost update! In this article we show you exactly how to start busting ghosts and get the ghost ingredient.
Interact With the Ghostbuster
The first step to getting the ghost ingredient is talking to the Ghostbuster. He’s located right in front of the Halloween scare board.
When you click on him, he’ll ask you to help him bust ghosts.
When you ask him how, he’ll give you the ghostbuster-equipment ingredient. Then he’ll tell you that you need to bust 10 ghosts, and he’ll give you a reward.
How to Bust 10 Ghosts
Take the ghostbuster-equipment ingredient back to your cauldron, and put it inside. Spawn and drink the potion, and you will turn into a ghostbuster!
After you have the ghostbuster equipment on, you’ll be able to see ghosts. All you have to do is walk up to a ghost and click on it to start busting. Make sure you can see the health bar decreasing.
The ghosts will try to run from you, but they’re slow so it won’t be too hard.
Once you bust a ghost, a message from the Ghostbuster will pop up and he’ll let you know how many ghosts you have left to bust.
The ghosts spawn all over the map, but they tend to re-spawn in the same area. So you won’t have to go far to get all 10 ghosts.
Getting the Ghost Ingredient
After you’ve busted all 10 ghosts, another message from the Ghostbuster will pop up, and he’ll tell you to come see him for your reward.
Once you make your way back to the Ghostbuster, just click to interact again. This time ask if you’ve killed enough ghosts. Then he’ll give you the ghost ingredient as a trophy.
When you go back to your cauldron you’ll see the ingredient on your table.
Now you can use it with other ingredients to get all the new potions!
If you continue to ghost hunt, after receiving the ghost ingredient, the Ghostbuster will reward you in candy instead.
This is how you get the ghost ingredient, have you ghost busted and gotten the new ingredient? What is your favorite new potion?
