Persona 3 Reload’s launch was one of the most successful launches. With it and Granblue Fantasy Versus experiencing strong and massive launches with high player counts and fast sales.

ATLUS has revealed that the game has recently broken the milestone of 1 million sales, making it the fastest-selling game in ATLUS history.

This data was announced on the ATLUS social media accounts in Japan and North America. According to the announcement, the game sold 1 million copies within its first week.

The post concludes with a massive “thank you” to the Persona community for making this massive milestone break possible.

Persona 3 Reload is a game that redefined the concept of remakes, including elements from Persona 3 Portable and Persona 3 FES.

The entire game was built from the ground up in Unreal Engine 4, and it redefined the concept of a remake as it is not a completely direct translation of the original game or its re-releases.

It might be unsurprising for some to know that the game will also receive an Expansion Pass. The game’s expansion pass includes the lost The Answer epilogue chapter from Persona 3 FES to new costumes and tunes, including those from Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal.

The only missing addition from this package of upcoming content is the female protagonist found within Persona 3 Portable.

The success of this remake has sparked rumors of remakes of other Persona games. The most prominent rumor now suggests that Persona 4 and Persona 2 are being remade in the same way that Persona 3 Reload was.

Persona 2 is one of the lesser-known Persona installments, so bringing it to new systems would be an amazing boon for fans of the Persona franchise.

Persona 3 Portable is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is also available as one of Xbox Game Pass’s many titles.
